Designing Ladakhi Futures

“Designing Ladakhi Futures” united 28 students from SECMOL, EJM College, and Ladakh University with NID facilitators in Leh for hands-on heritage space design. Through storytelling, mapping, and prototyping, they envisioned a sustainable visitor center blending cultural resilience, inclusion, ecology, and tourism—sparking intergenerational livelihoods and respectful engagement.Youth mastered experience design, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, rooting innovations in local stories and living heritage.
