Supported by Germany’s Cultural Preservation Grant , this intergenerational workshop brought together village elders, students and monastics to explore everyday life as living heritage. Through stories, food, agricultural practices, kitchen traditions and objects, learners investigated how knowledge and memory are carried across generations.
Through hands-on labelling, exhibit design and spatial planning, participants collectively reimagined the community museum as a living space of memory, identity and belonging . With the village itself becoming the classroom, young people connected history, ecology and design while taking an active role in carrying their community’s heritage forward.
