Organised with HIAL , a hands-on design experience bringing together 28 students from SECMOL, EJM College and the University of Ladakh with NID facilitators to reimagine the future of Ladakhi heritage. Through storytelling, mapping and prototyping, learners designed a sustainable visitor experience rooted in living heritage, cultural resilience, ecology, inclusion and responsible tourism .

The workshop introduced experience design, sustainability and entrepreneurship as tools for transforming local stories and knowledge into contemporary possibilities, while exploring how heritage spaces could support intergenerational livelihoods and more respectful relationships between visitors, communities and place .
